The aim of the ÖYP (Teaching Staff Training Program) is to enable convenient higher education institutions to offer post-graduate education to research assistants, thus educating the future teaching staff.

The Teaching Staff Training Program which was conducted with the support of the SPO in 2002-2009 has been conducted by the Council of Higher Education as of 2010.
